Advanced Reporting

Most significant business applications have some reporting provision within them.  These are usually sufficient for building and running reports to answer simple questions such as "Who are my customers in Ireland?" or "Who have we invoiced this week?".

However as you try to analyse your business in more depth it becomes apparent that you must draw on data within multiple systems.  This quickly presents problems, especially if one or several of your systems are 'in the cloud'.

It's common to see organisations spend hours in running one report from their CRM system and then another from the finance system and having to merge the data together.  Inevitably errors are then found in the data that must be fixed often leading to the process having to be started again.

ProvenWorks' reporting platform was built to automate this process allowing management to run the reports when they need them and to see a real-time snapshot of the business.

Examples of reports that have been built using our platform:

  • Multi-sheet Excel file showing Opportunities from Salesforce.com grouped by Sales Region, then ranked by Stage Group (Upside/Booked/Lost), by amount.  Provision for the sales manager to expand out the row to view the Activity history without leaving Excel.
  • Account addresses and Contact details from Microsoft Dynamics CRM joined to a proprietry licensing database to provide a mailing list of recent purchases for Satisfaction survey purposes.
  • On-demand generated report showing discrepencies between Opportunity amounts and the financials system's order amount.

ProvenWorks offer to implement a reporting solution which is guaranteed to meet your needs.  It is for this reason that we will discuss with you exactly what issues you are facing rather than simply sell you some software to install.

Key Features:

  • Push button, on-demand reporting
  • Schedule Excel reports to be delivered by email to a specified schedule
  • Presentation-ready reports, no manual post-generation formatting necessary
  • Reports can be generated dependent on data conditions.
    • e.g. email a report to the owners of large opportunities where there hasn't been any recorded activity in the last 14days.
  • No artificial complexity limits such as only being able to report across two relationships
  • No gimicks, 100% useful
  • Overlay data from multiple data sources on a single report e.g:
    • CRM Productivity vs Internet Usage
    • PBX telephone logs vs CRM activities recorded
    • CRM Opportunities vs Finance Invoices generated
